Process line position involve standing for long periods of time, twisting, bending and stooping frequently to transport product along the line. Line positions can involve working around hot, cold, and damp positions, manually off-loading product, working around and/or operating hydraulic powered equipment, working along moving belts, conveyors, and machinery. Frozen product may weigh between 22 and 65 pounds. Finished boxes are hand_stacked and/or carried onto pallets or conveyors. Production workers may clean conveyors, tanks, and machines and/or work areas using high-pressure water spray sanitizers. Physical demands require you to be highly mobile, physically strong, and able to work long hours in adverse conditions. Production workers shall perform such duties as may be required of him/her by the Master of the vessel, processing manager, foreman, and/or other designated representative of the vessel. The duties shall include, but are not limited to those above production related activities, loading and off-loading the vessel, cleaning and maintaining the processing equipment, cleaning the vessel itself and other equipment aboard.
